The Gospel

As we said, because we could not pay the penalties of our sin, Jesus, the only begotten son of God, came in the flesh, lived a perfect life, and then sacrificed Himself in your place to pay the price for your sin.
”For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.“ (1 Peter 3:18)
How does all this work? Jesus is offering to exchange His righteousness for your sin. To accomplish this He was crucified, and then raised again to life from the dead proving that full payment had been made.
“For our sake He [God the Father] made Him [Jesus Christ] to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him [Jesus Christ] we might become the righteousness of God.“ (2 Cor 5:21)
This is what is called ”The Great Exchange.“ Jesus has offered to exchange your sin for His righteousness. Your part is to acknowledge that He paid the full price for all your sins, and He gives you, in exchange, the full measure of His righteousness—which is the full righteousness of God.

Do you want to know what you should do to receive this free gift of forgiveness of your sins in exchange for the full righteousness of God?
