The Gospel

So, you are questioning whether or not God is completely Holy and good. Instead of getting into a never ending philosophical discussion about God, we prefer to tell you what Jesus Christ had to say about the matter.

Did you know that Jesus says that ONLY God is good? He said this in a few different places. One of those places is here in this verse from the Gospel of Mark:
In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus said, “No one is good but One, that is, God.” (Mark 10:18)
The Bible also tells us all good things come from God.
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” (James 1:17)
And, yes, God IS holy. “Holy” means: completely separated away from anything evil; absolutely pure and excellent in the extreme; transcendent--existing apart from and not subject to the limitations of the material universe.

We say God is transcendent because since He created time and the physical universe, then obviously He is outside of both time and all He created—clearly He exists apart from His creation and is not limited by what He created that is apart from Himself.
The angels in heaven declare, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!” (Isaiah 6:3, and also see Revelations 4:8)

And as for God’s being completely separated from any evil, the Bible says, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18)
So, the testimony of God and His word (and it is impossible for God to lie) is that God is Good and God is completely Holy.

You may not think this is true, but God says it is true.

The entire Gospel message begins with this foundational truth: God is so purely good and holy that He must maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward evil (or those who do evil).
