The Gospel

But because God is absolutely just and righteous, your sin is an obstacle that prevents God from giving you these blessings because God must punish all sin. Here is a passage from the Bible that talks to that:
“The LORD is a jealous and avenging God; the LORD takes vengeance and is filled with wrath. The LORD takes vengeance on his foes and vents his wrath against his enemies. The LORD is slow to anger but great in power; the LORD will not leave the guilty unpunished.” (Nahum 1:2-3)
But here is the GOOD NEWS! Because we could not pay the penalties of sin, Jesus, the only begotten son of God, came in the flesh, lived a perfect life, and then sacrificed Himself in your place to pay the price for your sin.
“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.” (1 Peter 3:18)

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
